Built to USGA Championship specification, the two courses are surrounded by dramatic landscapes and lovely trees. With a 18 hole par 72 Championship Course, which has hosted the West Region PGA Championships several times for proficient golfers and a simpler 9 hole par 33 course for beginners, this location has something for all.

Carlyon Bay Hotel – near St. Austell, Cornwall. This championship length golf course can be a daunting sight on first viewing, as it is situated upon the cliff-tops of St. Austell Bay. The par 72 track provides an entertaining round of golf as the front nine is located along the cliff edge with the back nine winding through the Cornish parkland.

Elfordleigh Hotel and Golf Club – Plymouth, Devon. This course is extremely scenic – the front nine tests golfers skills in the art of straight driving and the back nine includes three consecutive par threes.

Albufeira Golf Courses

Salgados – The 18 hole golf course is between Albufeira, Portugal Armacao de Pera. With many obstacles to water is a real test of golf skills. Ocean Golf Course – The golf courses can be found Vale do Lobo and a Par 70 track. Another Sir Henry Cotton course, this is an 18 hole course with great slopes

Pinheiros Altos – At the edge of Ria Formosa natural park is this 18 holes golf course in Quinta do Lago estate into Almancil. The course is challenging, because it is the second nine holes between hills dotted with the dangers of water and greenery of the seventeenth hole is an island. The course has become popular with top professional golfers of the pre-season practice sessions. The face of this course is 72.

Quinta do Lago South – Par 72 18 hole golf course has hosted the Portuguese Open eight times. The course can be played in different ways the two clockwise loops and is a great lesson for all standards of players.
